Based upon the information provided on the LWRP consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed action is CONSISTENT with the policies of the LWRP as follows: Policy 1: Foster a pattern of development in the Town of Southold that enhances community character, preserves open space, makes efficient use of infrastructure, makes beneficial use of a coastal location, and minimizes adverse effects of de ve lop m e n t. The proposed action provides the regulation of w,it eless facilities in the 'Town of" Southold to be consistent with the goafs of the So,uthold Town Comprehensive Plan as written in the newly adopted Wireless Comm urn ication, Master, P'lan. These regulations were created to permit wireless service providers to meet the community's need for consistent and dependable coverage while minimizing development impacts and preserving community character.
