SCT11�# 1Q[10-26--1-30 I Owner: ROB RT ALL ER RESOLUTION: WHEREAS, 595 :King Street, Orient, NY, is on the Town of Southold Registry of Historic Landmarks; and WHEREAS as set forth in Section 170_6 of the Town. Law (Landmaxks Preservation Code) of the Town of Southold, all proposals for material change/alteration must be reviewed and granted a Certificate of Appropriateness by the Southold Town. Historic Preservation Commission prior to the issuance of a Building Permit; and WHEREAS, the applicant submitted a proposal on May 14, 2026, for an approval to replace windows and doors to the existing single family dwelling, upon the above referenced premises; and WHEREAS, the applicant, Robert Aller, appeared before the Commission at a Word Session on May 28,2026 to describe the proposed improvements consisting of replacing existing windows and doors with Marvin Elevate Wood Ultrex Exterior windows, inside Wood Dutch door and Mahogany Wood storm doors, described in the application and as depicted in submitted specification sheets date stamped May 14, 2026; and WHEREAS the Commission has determined that pursuant to Chapter 170-4(E)(2) of the Southold Town Code, the Commission has the authority to determine that some proposals do not rise to the level of requiring a public ublic hearing, as the proposal is de minimis in nature; and WHEREAS the Commission has determined that the subject application for the Certificate of Appropriateness ro riateness is de minimis in nature, and therefore does not require a Public Nearing; and M1 WHEREAS, the applicant shall submit to the Commissioners photographs of the finished improvements upon completion; and Certificate of Appropriateness,Res.#05.28.2026.1 HPC, Robert Aller, SCTM No. 1000-26-1-.30 Page 2 WHEREAS, the Commissioners may conduct a site inspection of subject premises once improvements are completed.
