RIVERHEAD TOWN COUNCIL ALTERNATE TRANSPORTATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE Presentation from Riverhead’s Alternative Transportation Advisory Committee (ATC) led by Bruce & Carolyn Kagan. Also in attendance from the ATC are Steve Kuhl and Jon Feldman. Discussion centers on ATC’s hope for an extension of the North Shore Rail-to-Trail from Riverhead to Orient Point (see attachments provided at meeting). They are seeking an open dialogue and proposing collaboration with the Town of Southold. If the Commission and Town Board provide support, the ATC will move the project forward by opening discussions with PSEG, Legislator Greg Doroski, State Assemblywoman Jodi Giglio, and a Representative for New York Governor Kathy Hochul. 7. R EVIEW THE GOALS OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN. Postponed until the next meeting due to a lack of quorum. 8.
