Economic Development Committee Meeting Minutes for May 11, 2026
Location: Town Annex Building, Lower Level (4:00 P.M.)
Present: Jack (Chairperson), Alexa (Town Board Liaison), Amanda, Brent, Brian, Rich, George
Absent/Excused: Jennifer, Paul, Amanda
Call to Order: Chairperson Jack called the meeting to order at 4:02PM.
Old Business
Synergy Summits: Committee voted (unanimous), Resolved to hold next summit in the Fall of
2026
Twice a month Meetings: Committee voted (unanimous). Resolved to return to one meeting a
month for 90 minutes.
Incubator with MIT Venture Project: follow up discussion.
Organizational/ Documents - Jack will consolidate and present at next meeting.
Business Directory: Paul coordinating with Chambers; will have a draft prepared for the next
meeting.
New Business
Possible idea of a survey for businesses of concerns, ideas and helpful suggestions of what the
needs are. Leverage the current Communications Survey too. It was suggested for this to be
done bilingual in English and Sanish.
***Next meeting Key topic will be reviewing the Comp Plan EDC objectives. Make sure we are on
track.
