MEETING OF MARCH 24, 1959
The Southold Town Board met 'at the office of Supervisor Norman
E. Klipp at Greenport, on Tuesday, March 24, 1959. The meeting
was called to order at 1: 30 P.M.. with the following present:
Supervisor Klipp; Councilmen Albertson and Demarest; Justices .
Tuthill and Clark; Supt. of Highways Price; Town Attorney. Tasker
and Town Clerk Booth.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Demarest
RESOLVED: That the minutes of the meetings of March 10 and
March 20, be and hereby are duly approved as correctdd.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; 'Councilmen Albertson
and Demarest; Justices Tuthill and Clark. .
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill:
RESOLVED: That the regular monthly Audit meeting of this Board
will be held at the office of Supervisor Norman E.Klipp at
Greenport, on Tuesday, April 7, 1959, at 1:30 P.M.
Vote of Town Board:-Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Councilmen Albertson
and Demarest; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
At 2: 00 o' clock in accordance with a notice published accoidd-
ing to law, bids were opened for proposals to furnish to the.
Town of Southold 80, 000 gallons of special grade gasoline
for use by Southold Town Police and Southold Town Highway
Department,$', Only 'one bid was submitted which was by the Socony
Mobile Oil Company.
Moved by Councilman Albertson; seconded by Justice Clark:
RESOLVED: That Supervisor Norman E. Klipp be and hereby is
directed to enter into a contract with the Socony Mobile Oil
Company for the purchase of 80, 000 gallons of special grade
gasoline at 'a price of .1546 cents per gallon for use by the
Southold Town Police and the Southold Town Highway Department
or as much thereof as may be required during the period from
April 1, 1959 to March 31, 1960.

and Demarest; Justices' Tuthill and Clart.
Moved by Councilman Albertson; seconded by Justice Clark:
WHEREAS, . a petition was received from GENEVIEVE NAUGLES relative
to change of zone,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Taan Clerk of the Town
of Southold be nad he hereby is directed to transmit the applic-
ation to the Planning Board in accordance with Section 901, Sub-
division C of Article 1X of the Building Zone Ordinance of the
Town of Southold, Suffolk County, N.Y.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Councilmen Albertson
and Demarest; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Councilman Albertson; seconded by Councilman Demarest:
WHEREAS, the Southold Town Planning Board has prepared an official
report. and recommendation upon the petition of THOMAS M. MOLIN
and OSCAR MOLIN for 'a change of zone from "A"Residential and .
Agricultur&& District to . "M" Multiple Residence District on
certain real property situate near the Sillage of Greenport,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That a public hearing will
be held by the Southold Town Board at the Supervisor' s Office
in Greenport, on Tuesday, April 21, 1959, at 2:00 o'clock P.M.
for chanfe of zone on the aforesaid property.

Moved by Councilman Demarest; seconded by Councilman Albertson:
WHEREAS, a petition was heretofore filed with the Town Bca rd
of the Town of Southold by VALENTINE RUCH 1V requesting a
change, modification and amendment of the Building Zone
Ordinance from "A" Residential and Agricultural District
to "M" Multiple Residence District the property described
in said petition, and
WHEREAS, said petition was duly referred to the Planning Bpard
for its investigation, recommendation and report, an its report
having been filed with the Town Board, and thereafte a
public hearing in .relation to said petition having been duly
held by the Town Board on the 17th day of February, 1959, and
due deliberation having been had thereon,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the relief demanded in
said petition be, and' it hereby is denied.

and Demarest; Jutices Tuthill and Clark.
