My name is Travis Zurawski and I am the owner of Panoramica in Peconic. After watching the traffic patterns of Peconic Business Hamlet, I am concerned that a serious pedestrian/MV accident is likely to occur. Trucks, Cars, 18 wheelers travel far too fast heading through the Hamlet. Cars go upwards of 40mph-passing through pedestrians cross to use the Post Office and the other businesses. There is no radar signage traveling north to south on Peconic Lane and I think it would make an impact. I would even argue 30 MPH going through the hamlet and Cochran/Tascar park may be too fast entirely. Another factor is the curbside parking that encourages people to drive over what should be a curb cutout. I will share photos of the problem areas. Changes and a reassessment of this area would dramatically improve public safety. 1 Best, Travis Zurawski ATTENTION: This email came from an external source.
