THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION NO. 2026-298 WAS
ADOPTED AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD ON
APRIL 7, 2026:
WHEREAS, on August 2, 2022, the Town Board of the Town of Southold, by Resolution No.
636-2022, adopted a local law amending Town Code Chapter 17 (Community Preservation
Fund) to establish a Community Housing Fund, to be funded by a 0.5% supplemental real estate
transfer tax; and
WHEREAS, said local law was adopted after a mandatory referendum at the general election
held on November 8, 2022; and
WHEREAS, on September 6, 2022, the Town Board of the Town of Southold authorized and
directed the establishment of a Housing Advisory Board; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby
appoints, with the stated term limits, to serve on the Advisory Board, without compensation:
