A. Community Housing Overlay Criteria
1. The proposed code seems too complicated
2. Two-ways to do the CHO.
• Put it on the map
• Or just have criteria that explains where it would go
3. Expanding the as-of-right place where it can go.
o Hamlet centers
o HALO zones
o Hamlet stakeholder work is a good basis
o Outer business areas
o Allowing some as of right
o Taking away some of the difficulties
o Idea to place the CHO on hamlet centers
o Farther out?
o Other zoning districts.
o Planning considerations
o What are the limitations we would impose?
o How many lots in the hamlet center
o The 50/50 idea for market rate and affordable in commercial zones.
o Conservation Subdivisions. 10% requirement for affordable.
o Or they get their full yield in a conservation subdivision, but within the
80% preserved, they use a small amount of that land to build some
affordable housing.
o Send the AHD criteria to Pat and everyone.

B. Development Design Standards ongoing progress.
1. George summarized that they have been studying setbacks as they are
existing in real life in GB, LB, LI to get the average and compare distance
front to back and lot area. To get a recommendation on the front setbacks
