The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter §268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed action is CONSISTENT with the policies of the LWRP as follows: Policy 6. Protect and restore the quality and function of the Town of Southold's ecosystem. 6.3. Protect and restore tidal and freshwater wetlands. A. Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements of the Southold Town Board of Trustees laws and regulations for all Andros Patent and other lands under their jurisdiction. While the proposed dock replacement is not an exact one-for-one, in-kind replacement of the existing structures given that both the fixed and floating docks are longer than the originals, the new structures meet the requirements set out in: § 275-11 Construction and operation standards. C. In water. The following standards are required for all in-water operations adjacent to residential properties. Operations conducted on properties zoned M1 or M2 may be given greater flexibility in these requirements given the water-dependent nature of their use. (2) Docks. (a) Standards for residential and commercial docks; general rules. It shall be the policy of the Town of Southold that all docks shall be designed, constructed and located so as to reduce a dock's potential adverse impacts to navigation, public safety, waterway congestion, access to public trust lands and water, and natural resources and habitats. The following standards will serve as a basis for granting, denying, or limiting permits for the construction of docks. (b) Dock locations and lengths. (c) Regulations for the placement and configuration of docking facilities. [1]Residential docks. [b] If any part of a residential dock structure includes a float or floating dock, the float or floating dock portion shall be designed so that, with the exception of the pilings: [i]It is no larger than six feet wide and 20 feet long except on Fishers Island if the need is demonstrated; or of equal square footage as determined by the Trustees; The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter §268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards 2 Glenn Goldsmith,President k -:' Town Hall Annex 54375 Route 25 A.Nicholas Krupski,Vice PresidentF P.O.Box1179 Eric S'epenoski Southold,New York lt971 Liz Gillooly k Telephone(631) 765-1392 Elizabeth Peeples 1I .t Fax(631) 765-6641 BOARD.OF TOM TRUSTEES TOWN OF SOUTHOLD This Section For Office Use Only - Coastal Erosion Permit.Application - Wetland Permit Application` L/ _-Administrative Permit Lfl 2 3 2026 µAmendment/Transfer/Extensi n Received Application: 33 _ _Received Fee: $1 SGLfUic,ld Toovn Completed Application: 1 Board ofTnjstees Incomplete: SEQRA Classification: Type I Type 1I Unlisted; Negative Dec.` Positive Dec.
