Below is a description of the changes that were made following our site inspection with the Trustees on 4/8/26: • Moved the pool 3' closer to the house as indicated by the tot line setback measurement increasing from 16'to 19' o Please note that this change indicates that the two big trees of focus are now 10' and 13.5' away from the edge of patio and coping, respectively. They will not be removed. • Moved the pool equipment closer to the driveway so it is more in-tine with the pool, thus avoiding tree removal.for trenching to the equipment pad. Ptease let me know if you need any additional information. I've included pdf copies of the updated plans that were submitted today. Thankyou! Krista Krista S. WEILAND, SCTM# 1000-111.-13-11 This application is to install an 18'x40' in-ground pool with a 12'x22' pool patio, pool enclosure fencing with gates, a pool drywell, pool equipment area; and a stepping stone path. The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter §268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed action is CONSISTENT with the policies of the LWRP as follows: Policy 6. Protect and restore the quality and function of the Town of Southold's ecosystem. 6.3. Protect and restore tidal and freshwater wetlands. A. Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements of the Southold Town Board of Trustees laws and regulations for all Andros Patent and other lands under their jurisdiction. D. Provide adequate buffers between wetlands and adjacent or nearby uses and activities in order to ensure protection of the wetland's character, quality, values, and functions. The adequacy of the buffer depends on the following factors While the proposed action conforms to required setbacks within Town Code, the applicant should consider altering the location of the pool and patio so as not to have to remove mature trees on the property. There appears to be sufficient open space to accomplish the proposed plan without removing trees. The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter §268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. 2 Glenn Goldsmith,President soUry Town Hall Annex A.Nicholas Krupski,Vice President 0 `© 54375 Route 25 P.O.Box 1179 Eric SPe enoski Southold,New York 11971 Liz Gillooly G' Telephone (631) 765-1892 Elizabeth Peeples `,20 • ® Fax(631) 765-6641 BOARD OF TOWN TRUSTEES TOWN OF SOUTHOLD This Section For Office Use Only l EE FRUCoastal Erosion Permit Application _Wetland Permit Application Administrative Permit r r a 6 2026 _—Amendment/Transfer/Extension Received Application: o2so Received Fee: $ [, aSb Southold Town Completed Application: a(o Board of Trustees 3 Incomplete: . _ _ .i SEQRA Classification: Type I__ Type II Unlisted Negative Dec.
