SCTM# 1000-6.-4-7.2 The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposal is; CONSISTENT with the LWRP with the following condition: Policy 6.1 B (2) Retain and add indigenous plants to maintain and restore values of natural ecological communities. To be consistent with the policies of the LWRP, only native drought-tolerant species should be planted. The plant list is not specific as to two of the species, lupine and iris. Require only the native species be used, and prohibit the invasive species as described below. • Lupine — prohibit the use of Lupinis polyphyllus (Bigleaf Lupine) • Iris — prohibit the use of Iris pseduacorus (Yellow iris), Other species of iris and lupine are acceptable. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action. 2 G3�C�RE dWMD Town of Southold SEP 0 3 2025 LWRP CONSISTENCY ASSESSMENT FORM SOUflhOLU TOWN PLANNING BOARD A. This assessment is intended to.supplement other information used by a Town of Southold agency in making a determination of consistency. *Except minor exempt actions including Building Permits and other ministerial permits not located within the Coastal Erosion Hazard Area. 2.
