By the time the contractors were ready to check things out after the snow melted both Kristin and I were tied up with other emergencies. - Cameras, I looked at a bunch and Lorex and Reolink seem to be the best mid-priced units. I prefer both of them over the much higher priced Axios system Mattituck uses. - I should have railing repair prices for the next meeting, the price from the County approved contractor was high, and we can get better a better price from a local contractor. - I'II have the 1st porta-potty brought in next month with the rest right before we open the following month. Personnel: - We will get the handbook ready to go when we order stickers. We will need one for each employee and commissioner, plus a couple extra to have around. - Since all the staff are returning, we will need minimal uniform items. I'll get a list going this month so we can order in April before the rush. - IT coordinate with NYMIR for sexual harassment/workplace violence training, so we are all done before the season opens, - Civil Service, I need the signature card so I can get that finished up ASAP. General: - The website is technically live, but not linked to Google yet, so the only way to find it is to type in the we address. We have a couple things left to do before it is fully out there. - For Marcia, we need the new pic/bio. We also need minutes for February and March. Going forward we need to post the minutes within a couple weeks of the meeting. Also, do you have a contact for Erica Steindl from CAST? We have some pics from the 1st Polar Plunge on the website and want to get her take before it goes to Google. - The whole region has been hit hard with Avian Influenza this year. We have been lucky so far but there has been an uptick in birds found near us. Kristin and I are both trained to deal with this, so when someone finds a dead bird, they can call us to deal with it. - Bird fencing will go in around early April, we will try to get the area as clean as possible before it is roped off.
