Located: 1235 Wells Road, Peconic. SCTM# 1000-75-6-13.1 The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the action is INCONSISTENT with Policies 4 and 6 of the LWRP. 1. The protection of Richmond Creek's water quality is essential. Pool water disposal should be located far from the surface water if the pool is chlorinated. Due to the proximity of the pool to high-quality marine wetlands, a Bromide water pool should be considered. 2. The proposed pool is located too close to a FEMA AE flood and velocity hazard zone. https://experience.arcqis.com/experience/Oa3l 7e8998534c3Oa9b2d386l c814d42/page/RA PT-2025?dlq=dialog 1 3. Structures in FEMA flood zones should be avoided, relocated, or minimized to prevent loss. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.
