Subject: Farther Out East LLC Presubmission
I had submitted on February 6 a request for a presubmission conference regarding a proposed garage/
dwelling for Farther Out East LL•C, (Dowlings) located at 860 Rabbit Lane, East Marion. This project will
require a ZBA variance as well as Suffolk County Health Department approval for the proposed IA septic
system. Prior to going through the expense of these processes,we wish to obtain Trustees
feedback. The purpose of this conference is to determine:
1) if the Trustees have any concerns related to the project as submitted on the proposed site plan to.
include the location and scope of the project,the pier line and the proposed vegetated non-turf buffer
2).There is an existing runoff issue along the southeastern portion of this lot. The applicants are willing
to entertain suggested remedies to address this challenge as a part of a comprehensive project hence
providing an environmental benefit for the lot and surrounding area. We are asking for possible
suggestions from the Trustees as to mitigation efforts which might be included with the future project
proposal.
As I can not be present for the conference, I am asking that you call me at 516-848-6438 to discuss the
