A. Zoning Update Advisory Subcommittee Progress
1. Bruce presented what they have been working on to date with the interns
and visual aids for design standards.
2. They deducted protected land and Village of Greenport parcels
3. 21K acres 16,700 lots
4. Working on some relevant definitions such as lot area and floor area and
basement vs cellar. Also grade plane.
5. Draft residential bulk schedule.
6. Draft non-residential bulk schedule.
B. Sign Code discussion.
1. Pat reviewed new and old.
2. Old sign code is not bad. Maybe some subjectivity.
3. New one seems overly complicated.
4. Pat has notes on how to improve it. We should all take a look at it and go
over in detail.
