Dear Mr. Brier:
This letter is a follow up to your email received on February 1, 2026, along with
photographs. The Board of Trustees reviewed your request to remove a tree that had
fallen into.a pond on your property. The tree was reviewed and seen by Trustee Joe
Finora on February 20, 2026.
The Board of Trustees determined that the tree that fell into the pond may be removed
at this time. No permit will be required in order to perform this work.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

Hello,
I live at 7005 Soundview Avenue, and I am writing because one of the trees on our property, near the
shoreline of Great Pond, unfortunately fell into the pond during the recent winter storm.
I am attaching photos for reference- but I wanted to inquire about a permit to have the fallen tree
removed.
Please let me know if there's any further information I can provide to assist in this request.
