Dear Mr. Cikolla:
This letter is a follow up to your email received on February 19, 2026, along with several
photographs. The Board of Trustees reviewed your request to remove two (2) fallen
trees on your property within 100' of the wetlands. The trees were reviewed by Trustee
Glenn Goldsmith on February 19, 2026.
The Board of Trustees determined that the two (2) fallen trees may be removed at this
time. No permit will be required in order to perform this work.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.
If you have any questions, please call our office at (631) 765-1892.
Sincerely,
'4"-

He can remove the 2 dead trees that have fallen.
I think he was supposed to revegetate for the illegal clearing, but that's a separate subject.
Thanks!
Glenn

Isn't this the same person who got a violation for illegal clearing in the same spot?

Subject: [SPAM] - Request for Approval to Remove Dead Trees on Residential Property
Dear Members of the Board of Trustees,
I hope this message finds you well: I am a homeowner in Southold
my address is 380 Luptons Point Road Mattituck, and I am writing
1
to respectfully request approval to remove several dead trees
located in my backyard.
The trees appear to be fully dead and have significantly impacted
the overall condition and appearance of the property. I would like to
have them removed in a safe and professional manner, in
compliance with all local regulations and environmental guidelines.
I've attached a photo with the two trees circled that I would like
removed.
Please let me know if there are any specific permits, inspections, or
additional documentation required to proceed. I am happy to
arrange a site visit if needed.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I appreciate your
guidance on the proper steps to move forward.
Sincerely,
Jorgo Cikolla
