HomeMy WebLinkAboutTR-07/26/1977 263 July 26, 1977 A special meeting of the Board of Town Trustees was held at 7:30 p.m. , Tuesday, July 26, 1977 at the Town Hall, Main Road, Southold. Present were: Alvah B. Goldsmith, Chairman Douglas Robertson, Trustee Philip G. Horton, .Trustee George Bird, Trustee Absent was Joseph Hataier due to illness. Mr. Redhead is still using his mooring although he hasn't renewed his mooring permit and indicated to the Board that he did not have a boat moored. He is to be informed that he must renew his mooring or remove the boat from it. . . Wickham Creek dredging. Mr. Steve Gambria and Mr. Charles Galardi appeared to discuss with the Board the dredging of their property at Boatman' s Harbor. Peter Bogovic mooring application which had been denied. Mr._ Bogovic would like to put in a floating dock. It will be necessary that he present an application for the dock and he will have to go to DEC and the Army Corps of Engineers. Mr. Mullen' s application for a retaining wall was reviewed. This retaining wall is on Mr. Mullen' s private property and above high water and is not within the jurisdiction of the Board of Town Trustees and the Board has no objection to it. Leo Stack wetland application. The Board does not understand why Mr. Stack has made a wetland .application. It was work done by somebody else. If the Town Board insists on a recommendation from the Board of Town Trustees, the Board would be in favor of granting it. The Town Board is to be asked about the status of the request for improvements to Narrow River moorings. Motion was made, seconded and carried to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 9:30.
