Cornell Cooperative Extension, NYSDEC, and trained citizen volunteers will be collecting data on horseshoe crabs at this site. Nighttime surveys start at various times, and typically take less than 2 hours. Horseshoe crabs are counted, measured, and tagged; and nothing is removed from the beach. The surveys often occur during the late evening/early morning hours. Cornell Cooperative is to set up a Dashboard Plaque and share it with the Police for their approval. Extension Education Center . Said schedule must be approved by the Town Board prior to enactment if said schedule of rates or fees include an increase which does not exceed 10% of the previous schedule amounts. Notwithstanding this required approval, if sixty (60) days have expired, said schedule of rates or fees shall be deemed approved.
