Office to attend the Touro Land Use Institute Seminar titled "Clean Drinking Water-PFAs

Indemnity Agreement between Town of Southold and Chesterfield Associates, Inc.
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby authorizes and directs
Supervisor Albert J. Krupski, Jr. to execute an Indemnity Agreement dated January 27,
2026, between the Town of Southold and Chesterfield Associates, Inc. for the purpose of
allowing Chesterfield Associates, Inc. to temporarily utilize the Town parcel located at
Norman E. Klipp Marine Park to stage materials and equipment that will be transferred by
barge in conjunction with the restoration project to be performed at Long Beach Bar"Bug"
Lighthouse, subject to any requirements of the Town Trustees and subject to the approval

Special Event- Southold Town Winterfest 2026
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby grants permission to the
Southold Town Economic Development Committee to hold the Southold Town Winterfest
on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm with a Rain Date of Sunday,
February 22, 2026, on Town property located at 53670 Route 25 and 53720 Route 25,
Southold, provided they follow all the conditions in the Town's Policy for Special Events
on Town Properties, subject to the Economic Development Committee working with Town
and State departments as needed and the following additional conditions:
1. The Main Road (Route 25) closure for the event shall be limited to the hours of 10:00
am and 3:00 pm;
2. The applicant shall notify local hospitals, senior and rehabilitation centers that access
to Southold Pharmacy will be limited on the date of the event; and Notify Local Fire
Departments by February 1 Oth, 2026.
3. This approval shall be considered for the 2026 event only; any future request will be
reevaluated by the Board.
All Town fees for this event are waived.

Mattituck Greek Church Food Festival
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby grants permission to the
Mattituck Greek Church at 1950 Breakwaters Road to hold its Annual Food Festival on
Friday, June 26th, Saturday, June 27th and Sunday, June 28th 2026. Times range from noon
till 10:30pm.,provided they follow all the conditions in the Town's Policy for Special
Events. All fees associated with this event have been waived with the exception of the
clean-up deposit. Chief Grattan to be contacted as soon as possible for planning of road use

Authorization for Planning Director to prepare and issue an RFQ seeking qualified
environmental consulting firms to provide technical consulting services for Town
actions requiring environmental review under SEQRA
WHEREAS, the Town is required to comply with the New York State Environmental
Quality Review Act("SEQRA"), Article 8 of the Environmental Conservation Law, and its
implementing regulations at 6 NYCRR Part 617, for all discretionary actions undertaken,
funded, or approved by the Town; and
WHEREAS, certain Town initiated projects, plans, capital improvements, and legislative
actions, as well as applications submitted to the Planning Board and Zoning Board of
Appeals may require environmental review under SEQRA, including the preparation,
review, and evaluation of environmental assessment forms, technical studies, and related
documentation; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board recognizes that specialized professional expertise is often
necessary to assist the Town in conducting thorough, timely, and legally compliant SEQRA
reviews; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board finds it in the best interest of the Town to solicit
qualifications from experienced environmental consulting firms capable of providing
SEQRA support services on an as needed basis; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Director is the appropriate official to coordinate the preparation
and issuance of a Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") for such consulting services, and to
evaluate responses in accordance with applicable procurement policies;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Southold
hereby authorizes and directs the Planning Director to prepare and issue an RFQ seeking
qualified environmental consulting firms to provide technical consulting services for Town
actions requiring environmental review under the State Environmental Quality Review Act
(SEQRA); and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Planning Director is authorized to receive, review,
and evaluate responses to the RFQ, and to report recommendations to the Town Board for
the selection and retention of one or more qualified firms; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Board reserves the right to approve any
final contract(s) for SEQRA consulting services following the Planning Director's
recommendation; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution shall take effect immediately.
