The review focused on the interior plumbing work serving this room, specifically the Drainage Waste and Vent system (DWV) and the Water Supply system (WS). The inspection was a visual, non-destructive review of accessible work at the completed condition (e.g., at fixtures, shutoff valves, traps, and visible connections). Fixtures were operated to observe performance and to check for any apparent leaks. Findings 1. The drainage and vent piping serving the lavatory and water closet are properly connected to the existing system. Traps, trap arms, and tie-ins are configured as required. Cleanouts (where provided) and visible piping present appropriate workmanship. No leakage or improper operation was observed during fixture testing. Work is in compliance with applicable sections of the IRC, New York State Residential/Plumbing Codes, and the Town of Southold Building Codes. 2. Hot and cold supply lines, shutoff valves, and fixture connections are installed as required. Fixtures were operated with no observable leaks or irregularities. Visible piping and terminations exhibit proper installation. Work is in compliance with applicable sections of the IRC, New York State Residential/Plumbing Codes, and the Town of Southold Building Codes. Result Based upon my inspection of this powder room renovation and to the best of my knowledge, belief, and professional judgment, the plumbing work as installed complies with the approved plans and the applicable provisions of the IRC, New York State, and Town of Southold Building Codes.
