Permanent Appointment Assessment Clerk
WHEREAS the Town Board of the Town of Southold has appointed Erin Reventlow to the
position of provisional Assessment Clerk effective November 13, 2025, and
WHEREAS Erin Reventlow has taken and passed the Civil Service examination for
Assessment Clerk and is reachable on the Suffolk County Department of Civil Service List
of Eligible's for the competitive position of Assessment Clerk, and
WHEREAS the Town Board of the Town of Southold has determined that it is in the best
interest of the Town to appoint Erin Reventlow to the permanent position of Assessment
Clerk from said List of Eligible's, now therefore be it
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby appoints Erin Reventlow
to the position of Assessment Clerk from the Suffolk County Department of Civil Service
List of Eligible's effective immediately with no salary change.

2025 from the NYS Retirement System concerning the retirement of Daniel A. Mackey
effective December 31, 2025. Now therefore be it;

to Lieutenant Robert Haase to attend the Procedural Justice for Executives training from

Police Department- Training Request

Approve Resolution Number 2025-106
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby ratifies and approves
Resolution Number 2025-106 of the Fishers Island Ferry District, adopted December 8,
2025, which reads as follows:
WHEREAS the Fishers Island Ferry District policy as described in the Employee Handbook
grants a 3% longevity increase to wages when an individual has been employed by the
Fishers Island Ferry District for five years; and, it is further
RESOLVED that, with effect November 30, 2025, employee 60744's base pay be increased
by 3%.

Resolution Number 2025-107 of the Fishers Island Ferry District, adopted December 8,
2025, which reads as follows:

Deckhands (FIFD) effective November 21, 2025:

Resolution Number 2025-108 of the Fishers Island Ferry District, adopted December 8,
2025, which reads as follows:
Amend resolution 2025-102 adopted November 24, 2025 to read as follows:
WHEREAS Joel French has submitted a letter of resignation effective October 18, 2025
from his Part-Time Deckhand position.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners accepts the resignation
of the above named Employee with effect October 18, 2025.

Land Preservation Partnership
WHEREAS, the County of Suffolk, under the Suffolk County Drinking Water Protection
Program— Open Space, has introduced a resolution to initiate the appraisal and acquisition
process for the 34.76::L acres of land located at 48460 & 50100 CR 48, Southold,more
particularly described on the Suffolk County Tax Map as 1000-55.-3-6.4, 6.5 & 7; and
WHEREAS, the County of Suffolk has asked the Town of Southold to commit to partner
with the County of Suffolk for 50% of the cost of the acquisition and any associated soft
costs, including but not limited to appraisals, title searches, surveys, and environmental site
assessment reports; and
WHEREAS, the County of Suffolk has asked the Town of Southold to commit to
undertaking the maintenance in the form of a stewardship management agreement; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED that the Town of Southold is willing to commit to partner with the County of
Suffolk for 50% of the cost of the acquisition and any associated soft costs, including but not
limited to appraisals, title searches, surveys, and environmental site assessment reports; and
be it further
RESOLVED that the Town of Southold is willing to commit to manage the property in the
form of a stewardship management agreement, terms of which shall be determined at such
time that the Town and County enter into contract to purchase such property; and be it
further
RESOLVED that the purpose of this resolution is to commit to a 50%/50%partnership and
to commit to manage the property for purposes of initiating the appraisal steps and potential
acquisition process, and that no interest or rights shall be acquired by the Town of Southold
until a public hearing is held for the purpose of electing to purchase the property.

2025 HHW Grant Application
WHEREAS, the State of New York provides financial aid for household hazardous waste
programs (HHW); and
WHEREAS the Town of Southold operated an HHW program in 2025 approved by the State
of New York Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and is eligible to apply for
reimbursement of up to 50% of the HHW costs it incurred in 2025, through the DEC's
Household Hazardous Waste Assistance Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED by the Town Board of the Town of Southold that Supervisor Albert J. Krupski
Jr. or his designee is directed and authorized as the official representative of the
Municipality to submit an application to the DEC for reimbursement of eligible HHW costs
incurred in 2025 by the Town, and to provide such additional information as may be
required and to sign any and all additional documents that may be required by the State in
connection with this application.

RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby authorizes and directs
the Town Supervisor, Albert J. Krupski, Jr., to execute the NYMIR 2026 Insurance Renewal

coverages maintained by the Town, for the period January 1, 2026 through December 31,

WHEREAS there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk
County,New York, on the 16th day of December, 2025, a Local Law entitled"A Local Law
in relation to an Amendment to Chanter 280 Wireless Communications Facilities," and
now therefor be it
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold will hold a public hearing on the
aforesaid Local Law at Southold Town Hall, 53095 Main Road, Southold,New York, on the
10th day of February, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at which time all interested persons will be given
an opportunity to be heard.
The proposed Local Law entitled, "A Local Law in relation to an Amendment to
Chanter 280 Wireless Communications Facilities," which reads as follows:
LOCAL LAW NO. 2026
ARTICLE XVII
Wireless Communication Facilities
§ 280-67. Purpose.
It is the express purpose of this article to minimize the visual and environmental impacts
of wireless communication facilities while protecting the health, safety and welfare of
Southold's citizens. It recognizes the crucial role of reliable wireless coverage for
work, public safety, education, social connection and recreation, and allowsif+g
wireless service providers to meet their technological and service objectives. In addition,
the regulation of wireless facilities, including the type of structure, is intended to protect
the scenic and aesthetic qualities of the Town of Southold while meeting the
community's need for consistent and dependable coverage. This article allows
wireless communication facilities in certain preferred locations to be reviewed and
approved in keeping with the Town's existing zoning and historic development patterns,
including the size and spacing of structures.
