Re: Please see the following concerns/comments regarding the zoning update that the
committee has.
Concerns on Zoning Update
- Special Events—Streamlining the process for farms
- Expediting a Permitting process for agricultural purposes
- Site Plan Approvals should not be required for agricultural structures
- Chapter 72— Is it being eliminated and rolled into the new zoning code?
- Chapter 280-89 the ag uses definition should be the same as stated in Chapter 72
- Eliminate the farm seasonal worker housing definition in 280-94
- Item K in 280-45(2) delete the term full time, (3) eliminate, (5) delete the term full time
- Chapter 280-45 -G -1 & 2 Eliminate and mirror NY Ag & Markets definition
- Chapter 280 -G- 3 & 4— Eliminate, no replacement suggested.
- Page 81 > H >2>A Farm Stand section 2 after shall consist of agricultural products grown
add "and processed"
- Page 82> 3>A> 1—change the wording to "The farm stand may be a building, a portion
of the building and may not exceed 3,000 sq ft. of floor area."
