Fuentes, Coordinator c / ° ' kimf@southoldtownny.gov G FS�AvAYiflN Town of Southold Historic Preservation Commission Resolution No. 10.24.2024.1 Date: October 24, 2024 Recommendation to the Town Board of the Town of Southold to add the Shiloh Baptist Church, (SCTM No. 1000-135-3-22) to the Southold Town Registry of Historic Landmarks RESOLUTION: Make a recommendation to the Town Board of the Town of Southold to designate the Shiloh Baptist Church, located on 43100 County Road 48, Southold, particularly known as Suffolk County Tax Map No. 1000-135-3-22, as a historic landmark for addition to Town's "Registry of Historic Landmarks"per Chapter 170-5 of the Town Code of the Town of Southold. WHEREAS, on October 21, 2024, Sheila Cumberbatch, Member, made application to the Southold Town Historic Preservation Commission for inclusion of the Shiloh Baptist Church at 43100 County Road 48, Southold,to the Town's "Registry of Historic Landmarks." WHEREAS, the Commissioners visited the property, and on October24, 2024, Tara Cubie, Representative, appeared on behalf of the Shiloh Baptist Church, the Commissioners reviewed the application, and found that the subject property meets the requirements for designation as set forth in Chapter 170-5(A) of the Town Code of the Town of Southold. NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Southold Historic Preservation Commission recommends that the Town Board of the Town of Southold designate the Shiloh Baptist Church, located at 43100 County Road 48, Southold, particularly known as SCTM No. 1000-135-3-22, as a historic landmark for addition to the Town's "Registry of Historic Landmarks"per Chapter 170-5 of the Town Code of the Town of Southold.
