Dear Mr. Fanelli:
This letter is a follow up to your letter received on July 23, 2025, along with several
photographs. The Board of Trustees reviewed your request to remove the 70' tall pine
tree on your property within 100' of the wetlands. These trees were reviewed and seen
by Trustee Elizabeth Peeples on August 22, 2025.
The Board of Trustees determined that the pine tree may be removed at this time. No
permit will be required in order to perform this work.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

Dear Sirs,
I am requesting permission to remove a large tree from my backyard.
It is a pine tree about 70 feet tall and is showing-severe rot in the
trunk at the base of the tree! Today I had a visit by Ryan, Dooley ;of, -
North Fork Trees Inc., and he agrees that the tree should be removed
due to the rotted trunk base! It could cause severe damage to my
home should it fall due to hurricane season! I am enclosing several
photographs.
