Dear Mr. Whelan:
This letter is a follow up to your email received on June 12, 2025, along with several
photographs. The Board of Trustees reviewed your request to remove branches and
prune the trees on your property within 100' of the wetlands. These trees were
reviewed and seen by Trustee Glenn Goldsmith on August 5, 2025.
The Board of Trustees determined that the branch removal and pruning of the trees,
may be removed at this time. No permit will be required in order to perform this work.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

Good Morning Elizabeth,
I wish to do some tree pruning at my residence.The trees in question are within one hundred of the water(James Creek
Tributary).There are a few limbs that are greater than 6" which are detailed in the attached photos. In addition to the
detailed limbs I wish to remove the smaller dead branches within the canopy for safety.We have had some branches
come down which is becoming dangerous. Please advise if you require any additional information for this request.
