Dear Mr. Krudop:
This letter is a follow up to your email received on September 22, 2025, along with
several photographs. The Board of Trustees reviewed your request to selectively prune
dead branches from trees on your property within 100' of the wetlands. These trees
were reviewed and seen by Trustee Glenn Goldsmith on October 3, 2025.
The Board of Trustees determined that the dead branches may be selectively pruned at
this time. No permit will be required in order to perform this work.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.
If you have any questions, please call our office at (631) 765-1892.
Sincerely,
e1

Good morning,
Looked thru my emails and thought I had sent this last year, may have had the wrong email
address.Anyway, I adhered to your denial of the tree removal but am still seeking
permission to trim the trees in my backyard. There are 5 oaks in my lawn area, I've trimmed
them before years back, only maintenance on the trees in your jurisdiction. Don't know if
this permission can be expedited, but it would be easier if it was sooner than later for the
arborist to identify the dead. I appreciate any help to a quick response.
Thankyou
Rob Krudop .

My neighbor and I are disappointed in your decision, allowing me to remove
the hollow tree. The liability now falls on you.
Please respond if I am allowed to trim the dead out of the trees that is
normally done on routine yard maintenance. I am not interested in getting a
fine that was bestowed upon me without knowing the law last time.
Sincerely
Robert Krudop
