Supervisor Martocchia reported:
1. Receipt'of `reports of the Supervisor, Dog Warderis, 'Building
Department, Town Clerk, JusticeSuter, and Chief 'Cataldo for September
1976.
2. Audit of the bills will be approved following a recess of
this meeting.
3. The -board has. received_ various proposals for the telephone
communication at the town ha.il, " Southold from New York Telephone,
Executone and Progressive. These proposals are being studied.
On motion of Justice Demarest, seconded by Justice Suter, it was
RESOLVED that request for partial funding from the Greenport School
and Southold C.Y.O. be and hereby are denied.

Supervisor Martocchia:
4. The board is studying the structure of the Conservation
Advisory Council abd perhaps by the next meeting it will be complete
and some action will be taken.
5. Suffolk County Legislator John T. Donohue has solicited the
support of the town board for the activities of the Task Force for
Solar Systems and Energy Conservation chaired by Mr. ' Donohue.
6. Town Board members and their wives have been invited to a
ten year anniversary of the Southold Senior Citizens to be held on
October 20, 1976 from 12 noon to 4 P.M. at the Matiituck Manor.

14. Explained the necessity for the .above transfer: $6,0, 000'. 00
was budgeted for this years street lighting, anticipating the town
would have most of their own lights up by April •or_ May::. -.There -has
been severe difficulty withLILCO coordinating the program. There
is to' be •a meeting -with LILCO' on Friday to iron out certain. probl'ems.
This- transfer will. only cover bills up .to- September .30th, and. October,
November, and December must still be covered.

Mrs. Gladys Csajko asked when the proposed budgets for 1977 will be

ready .for distribution to the public?---Supervisor Martocchia
stated• 'the town '-budget is ready, "•but some; of --the schooldistricts
have .not completed their part. Copies of the .budget can be obtained
from the Town Clerk. They have reduced the rate `15�, from $3, 53
to $3.37..
