Mr. Boccio:
I have spoken to Mike Domino, President of the Trustees and he advises me the following with regard to your request:
The Southold Town of Trustees generally support green projects. However,the location of your proposed solar project
presents serious issues that precludes approval.
Maps show the bulkhead lies in the annual flood hazard zone, and nearly touches the retaining wall, and therefore we
are prohibited from permitting structures in this zone that may have the potential to become a projectile during a storm
surge. Additionally there will be setback issues that will have to be dealt with in the Building Department.
Accordingly we suggest you study other locations on your property for this project.

Please see attached for basic explanation of what Dr. Kofinas desires.
I estimate the Solar array to be about 40ft wide and be pitched on an angle in front of the 2"d retaining wall.
