Dear Mr. Fox:
This letter is a follow up to your email received on August 11, 2025, along with several
photographs. The Board of Trustees reviewed your request to prune three (3) trees on
your property within 100' of the wetlands. These trees were reviewed and seen by
Trustee Nicholas Krupski on August 11, 2025.
The Board of Trustees determined that the three (3) trees may be pruned at this time.
No permit will be required in order to perform this work.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

Dear Elizabeth,
I am writing to request the trustees' approval for us to prune three small trees located east of our
house at 975 Kimogenor Point in New Suffolk. The trees are within 100 feet of West Creek.
There are two pine trees and one honey locust tree to be pruned.
Most of the pruning will be to the honey locust. The purpose is to:
1. Remove low branches hanging over the road.
2. Remove branches interfering with overhead utility lines.
3. Remove low branches interfering with maintenance activity and foot traffic on the
lawn.
4. Thin the tree and remove deadwood.
Pruning the pine trees will consist of:
1. Removing branches hanging over the roof and impeding foot traffic.
2. Removing dead wood.
The work will be performed by Shamrock Tree Service.
