MEETING OF FEBRUARY 17, 1958.
A public hearing was held by the Southold Town Board at the Supervisor 's
Office in Greenport, on February 17, 1958, with the following present:
Supervisor Klipp; ouncilmen Albertson and Demarest; Justice Clark and
Attorney Tasker.
This hearing was on the proposal to amend the Building Zone Ordinance
of the Town of Southold by changing from "A" Residential and Agricult-
ural District to "B" Business District on the petitions of THE CHASE
MANHATTAN BANK and LYDI.A CADUGAN on property situate at Cutchogue, Town
of Southold, N.Y. . Supervisor Klipp opened the hearing at 7:30 P.M.
and read the call of the meeting. He then called upon any person present
who wished to speak either for or against the aforesaid proposals to
amend the Building Zone Ordinance . The minutes of this meeting were
recorded by George Lederle.
Moved by Councilman Albertson; seconded by Councilman Demarest:
RESOLVED: That the regular monthly meeting of thi§ Board will be held
at the office of Supervisor Norman E. Klipp at Greenport , on Tuesday,
February 25, 10,58, at 1:30 P. I.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Council men Albertson and
Demarest and Justices Clark.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Demarest:
WHEREAS, a petition was heretofore filed with the Town Board of the
Town of Southold by THE CHASE MANHATT.AN BANK requesting a change , modif-
ication and amendment of the Building Zone Ordinance , including the
Building Zone Maps made a part thereof by changing from "A" Residential
and Agricultural District to "B" Business District the property described
in said petition, and
WHEREAS , said petition was duly referred to the Planning Board for its
investigation, recommendation and report, and its report having been
filed with the Town Board, and thereafter, a public hearing in relation
to said petition having been duly held by the Town Board on the 17th
day of February, 1958, and due deliberation having been had thereon
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED that the relief demanded in said petition,
be , and it hereby is granted.

WHEREAS , a petition was heretofore filed with the Town Board of the
Town of Southold by ALBERT SACCO requesting a change , modification and
amendment of the Building Zone Ordinance including the Building Zone
Maps made a part thereof by changing .from "A" Residential and Agricult-
ural District to "B" Business District the property described in said
petition, and
WHEREAS , said petition w--s duly referred to the Planning Board for its
investigation, recommend-tion and report , and its report having been
filed t,ith the Town Board, and thereafter, a public hearing in relation
to said petition having been duly held by the Town Board on the 28th
day of January, 1958, and due deliberation having been had thereon
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the relief demanded in said petition
be , and it hereby is granted.

WHEREAS , a petition was heretofore filed with the Town Board of the
Town of Southold by LYDIA CADUGAN requesting a change , modification and
amendment of the Building Zone Ordinance including the Building Zone
Maps made a part thereof by changing from "A" Residential and Agricultural
District to "B" Business District the property described in said petition,
and
WHEREAS , said petition was duly referred to the Planning Board for its
investigation, recommendation adn report, and its report having been filed
with the Town Board , and thereafter, a public hearing in relation to said
petition having been duly held by the Town Board on the 17th day of Feb.
1958, and due deliberation having been had thereon
N01,1) THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the relief demanded in said petition,
be , and hereby is granted.

WHEREAS ' a petition was heretofore filed with the Town Board of the
Town of Southold by VERONICA FROHNE requesting a change , modification
and amendment of the Building Zone Ordinance including the Building
Zone Maps made a part thereof by changing from "A" Residential and
Agricultural District to "B11 Business District the property described
in said petition, and
WHEREAS , said petition was duly referred to the Planning Board for
its report , investigation and recommendation, and its report having
been filed with the Town Board , and thereafter, a public hearing
in relation to said petition having been duly held by the Town Board
on the 21st day of January, 1958, and due deliberation having been had
thereon
NOW°, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the relief demanded in said
petition be , and it hereby is denied.

AMENDMENT NO. 13
Notice is hereby given that after a P ublic Hearing held pursuant
to the requirements of law, the Building Zone Ordinance �inc.ludi_ng
the Building Zone Maps) of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County,
New York, was duly amended at a regular meeting of -the Town Board
on February 17, 1958, as follows :
1. By changing from "A" Residential and .Agricultural 'District to
"B" Business District the following described property:
ALL that tract or parcel of land situate , lying and being at
Cutchogue , in the Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of
New York, J
BEGINNING at the southwesterly co-•°ner of the premises herein des-
-cr. ibed at a point in the easterly line of New Suffolk Lane and at
the northwesterly corner of land now or formerly of Ellis F. Billard
and Natalie T. Billard, his wife; running thence North 9 degrees
. 53 minutes 20 seconds West along the easterly line of New Suffolk
Lane 110.25 feet to land of the estate of Charis L. Kendrick, deceased;
thence North 68 degrees 32 minutes 20 seconds East along said land
of the Estate of Charis L. Kendrick, deceased, 260.91 feet to a mon-
ument and land now or formerly of Horton; thence South 21 degrees
25 minutes 20 seconds East along said land now or formerly of Horton
107.39 feet to a monument and land of the aforesaid Billards; and
thence South 68 degrees 25 minutes 20 seconds West along said Billard °s
land 282.95 feet to the point or place of beginning.
2. By changing from "A" REsidential .to,('"B01 Business District the

ogue , Town of Southold, County of Suffolk, New York, bounded and
described as follows :
BEGINNING at an iron pipe set on the westerly line of Linden Avenue
about 203 feet southerly along said westerly line from the Main Road
(Route 25) and running along said westerly line of Linden Avenue ,
2 coi. rees as follows:
(1) South 2 degrees 19 minutes 50 seconds West 59.72 feet; thence (2)
South 50 degrees 25 minutes 50 seconds West 25.08 feet to a concrete
monument and land conveyed to M. Kur. piewski; thence along said land,
North 83 degrees 03 minutes 40 seconds West 68.89 feet to a concrete
monument and land of Jablonski; thence along said land of Jablonski
North 18 degrees 27 minutes 10 seconds West 84.75 feet to an iron
stake; thence along other land of Machinchick at right angles to said
westerly line of Linden Avenue; South 87 degrees 40 minutes 10 seconds
East 100.10 feet to the point of beginning. "
3 . By Changing fuom "A" Residential to "B" Business District the
following described property:All that tract or parcel of land situat'e , '
Lying and being at Peconic , in the Town of Southold , County of Suffolk,
New York, bounded North by Main Road about 500 feet ;East by Indian
Neck Road 200 feet; South by orhter land of Albert Sacco and West by
land of Koroleski.
