Southold, Suffolk County, New York
WHEREAS,pursuant to the provisions of the Nassau,Suffolk and Erie Counties Improvement Act the above
entitled proceeding was duly instituted and that by an order duly entered therein three commissioners of estimate to
ascertain and determine the compensation to be made to the respective owners of the real property to be acquired in
said proceeding were duly appointed and that the oaths of said commissioners were duly filed in the office of the
County Clerk of Suffolk County on June 25 ig 62,and that thereupon title in fee simple to
the property to be acquired in said proceeding became vested in the County of Suffolk,New York,and
WHEREAS, immediately prior to the vesting of title as aforesaid in the said County of Suffolk
MATTTTUCK PARK DISTRICT of Mattituck, New York
owned the parcel of property acquired as aforesaid and designated in said proceeding as Map No.13R
which said parcel of property is more particularly described as follows:
ALL that piece or parcel of land situate in the Town of Southold.
County of Suffolk, State of New York for the reconstruction of Middle Road Ext-
ension County Road No. 27A, as shown on Map No. 13R and described'as follows;
BEGINNING at a point on the northerly boundary of the existing Middle
Road Extension at the intersection of the said boundary with the division line between
the lands of an Unknown Owner reputed owner on the west, and the lands of
Mattituck Park District, reputed owner on the east, :idaid point being 40 feet
distant northerly, measured at right angles from station 57 + 90 t of the herein-
after described survey center line of the proposed Reconstruction of Middle
Road Extension, County Road No. 27A,thence northerly along said division line
20 feet to a point 60 feet distant northerly, measured at right angles, from station
57 + 90 t of said center line; thence easterly on a curve deflecting to the right
having a radius of 2944.79 feet an arc distance of 504feetto a point on the division
line between the lands of Mattituck Park District, reputed owner on the west
and the lands of Charles Abrahams, reputed owner on the east, the last mentioned
point being 60 feet distant northerly, measured at right angles, from station
58+40 f of the said center line; thence southerly along last mentioned division
line 40 t feet to its intersection with the first mentioned northerly boundary of
said existing road, the last mentioned point being 20 f feet distant northerly,
measured at right angles, from station 58+40f of the said center line; thence
westerly along the said northerly boundary on a curve deflecting to the left having
a radius of 2904.79 feet an arc distance of 40 t feet to a point 20 t feet distant
northerly, measured at right angles, from station 58+ 00 t of said center line;
thence northerly 23 t feet to a point 40 feet distant northerly, measured at right
angles, from station 58+ 14 t of said center line; thence westerly on a curve
deflecting to the left having a radius of 2924.79 feet an arc distance of 25 t feet
to the point of beginning; being 1660 t s,f, or 0.038 acres more or less, and being
a part or portion of Lot No. 10 and an unnumbered parcel of land as shown on a
map entitled "Map of Property of Mrs.,Clara W. Reeve" and filed in the office of
the Clerk of Suffolk County on December 4, 1922 as Map No. 212.
The above mentioned survey center line is a portion of the survey center
line for the proposed reconstruction of Middle Road, C.R. 27 and Middle Road Ext-
ension, C.R. 27A, and the construction of Middle Road Extension, C.R. 27B, as sho
on a map on file in the office of the Commissioner of Public Works of Suffolk County.
