HomeMy WebLinkAboutL 6043 P 267 1 -Middle Road and Extension; Map No. 47 116ER YAC� tt_ COUNTY COURT, SUFFOLK COUNTY. 1 n e attar of the Petition of the COUNTY OF SUFFOLK for the purpos of acquiring the real properties in the ?Town of Southold, required in connec- File No. 84854 '-tion with the reconstruction of Middle RECEIPT AND RELEASE Road, C.1�. 27, Middle Road Extensio , Re:MAP No. u C.R. 27A,-Middle Road Extension, 47 .+ C.R. 27B, in the said Town of Southol 1, K Suffolk County, New York. 0 �o c m a v r WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Nassau, Suffolk and Erie Counties Im- provement Act the above entitled proceeding was duly instituted and that by an order duly entered therein three commissioners of estimate to ascertain and determine the compensa- tion to be made to the respective owners of the real property to be acquired in said pro- ceeding were duly appointed and that the oaths of said commissioners were duly filed in the office of the County Clerk of Suffolk County on June 25, i 19 6Z , and that thereupon title in fee simple to the property to be acquired in said proceeding became vested in the County of Suffolk, New York, and WHEREAS, immediately prior to the vesting of title as aforesaid in the said County of Suffolk THE TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD of Town Hall, Southold, New York owned the parcel of property acquired as aforesaid and designated in said proceeding as Map No. 47 , which said parcel of property is more particularly described as fol- lows: ALL that Suffolk, Stateof New York for lthe of lreconstruction of Middle nd situate i*u the f Southold, County u Road No. 27A, as shown on Map No. 47 and described as follows:Extension, County BEGINNING at a point on the northerly boundary of the existing Middle Road Extension at the intersection of the said boundary with the easterly boundary of the existing Westphalia Avenue, said point being 40 feet distant northerly, measured at right angles, from Station 52+ 98 f of the hereinafter described survey center line of the proposed reconstruction of Middle Road Extension, County Road No. 27A, thence northerly along said easterly boundary 104+feet to a point I40 feet distant northerly, measured at right angles, from Station 52 + 72 f of said center line; thence easterly 48 -+feet to a point on the high water mark of Mattituck Creek as it existed in August 1961, said point being 150 t feet distant northerly, measured at right angles,along said high from Station 53+ 18 f of said center line; thence southeasterly water mark of Mattituck Creek 47 t feet to a point I15 t feet distant northerly, measured at right angles, from Station 53 + 50 of said center line; thence easterly along said high water line 50 t feet to a point 113 f feet distant northerly, measured at right angles, from Station 54+ 00 of said center line; thence northeasterly still along said high water mark, I59 t feet to a point, said point being 165 t feet distant northerly, measured at right angles, from Station 55+ 50 of said center line; thence still northeasterly along high water mark IZ3 f feet to a point 225 t feet distant northerly, measured at right angles, from Station 56+ 50 of the said center line; thence easterly along said high water mark 128 t feet to its intersection with the former high water mark of Mattituck Greek, as it existed prior to placing of hydraulic fill in 1956, the last mentioned point being 268 t feet distant northerly, measured at right angles, from Station 57+ 60 t of the said center line; thence southerly along the last mentioned high water mark 270 f feat to its intersection with the said northerly boundary rt Middle Road Fed at z on C.R. 27A, the last mentioned point being 40 feet distant northerly, measured at right angles, from Station 56+ 60 t of said center line; thence westerly along the last mentioned northerly boundary of said existing road 368 f feet to the point of beginning; being 60,480 t a.f. or I.388 acres more or less.
