In the Matter of the Petition of the COUNTY
OF SUFFOLK for the purpose of acquiring
the real properties in the Town of Southold, RECEIPT AND RELEASE
required in connection with the reconstruction
of MIDDLE ROAD, C.R. 27, MIDDLE ROAD RE: MAP No. 4
EXTENSION, C.R. 27A, MIDDLE ROAD
EXTENSION, C.R. 27B, in the said Town
of Southold, Suffolk County, New York
WHEREAS,pursuant to the provisions of the Nassau,Suffolk and Erie Counties Improvement Act the above
entitled proceeding was duly instituted and that by an order duly entered therein three commissioners of estimate to
ascertain and determine the compensation to be made to the respective owners of the real property to be acquired in
said proceeding were duly appointed and that the oaths of said commissioners were duly filed in the office of the
County Clerk of Suffolk County on Jcma 25 19 62,and that thereupon title in fee simple to
the property to be acquired in said proceeding became vested in the County of Suffolk,New York,and
WHEREAS, immediately prior to the vesting of title as aforesaid in the said County of Suffolk
GABRIEL KOUSOUROS of 8835-179 St., Jamaica, New York
owned the parcel of property acquired as aforesaid and designated in said proceeding as Map No. 4
which said parcel of property is more particularly described as follows:
ALL that piece or parcel of land situate in the Town of Southold, County
of Suffolk, State of New York for the reconstruction of Middle Road Extension
County Road No. 27A, as shown on Map No. 4 and described as follows;
BEGINNING at a point on the southerly boundary of the existing Middle
Road Extension at the intersection of the said boundary *ith the division
line between the lands of Joseph Gilles reputed owner on the east, and the
lands of Gabriel Kousouros, reputed owner on the west, said point being 60
feet distant southerly, measured at right angles, from station 19+ 23.29 of the
hereinafter described survey center line of the proposed reconstruction of
Middle Road Extension County Road No. 27A, thence southerly along said
division line 5.49 feet to a point 65.10 feet distant southerly, measured at
right angles, from station 19+ 25.31 of said center line; thence westerly one
a curve deflecting to theEdit'having a radius of 2820.79 feet an arc distance of
109.39 feet to a point 73.78 feet distant southerly, measured at right angles,
from station 18+ 15.96 of said confer line; thence westerly on a curve deflect-
ing to the right having a radius of 2908.79 feet an arc distance of 287.69 t
feet to a point 88 feet distant southerly, measured at right angles, from
station 15+ 28.27 of said center line; thence southerly on a curve deflecting
to the left having a radius of 40 feet an arc distance of 83.68 feet to a point
147.92 feet distant southerly measured at right angles from station 14+ 93.58 of
said center line; thence southeasterly on a curve deflecting to the left having
a radius of 390 feet an arc distance of 134.34 feet to a point 250.72 feet
distant southerly measured at right angles, from station 15 + 79.53 of said
center line, thence still southeasterly on a curve deflecting to the left having
a radius of 667.97 feet an arc distance of 135.60 feet to its intersection with
the northerly boundary of Sound Avenue, said point of intersection being 327.60
feet distant southerly, measured at right angles, from station 16+ 90.99 of
the said center line; thence westerly along said northerly boundary 515.93
feet to a point.117 feet distant southerly, measured at right angles, from
station 12 + 20 of said center line; thence northerly 57.00 feet to a point on the
first mentioned southerly boundary of Middle Road Extension C.R. 27A,
said point being 60 feet distant southerly, measured at right angles, from sta-
tion 12+ 20 of said center line- thence easterly along the last mentioned south-
erly boundary of said existing Middle Road Extension 703.29 feet to the

point of beginning; being 46,673 f s.f. or 1.07 acres more or less.
The above mentioned survey center line is a portion of the survey center
line for the proposed reconstruction of Middle Road Extension C.R. 27Aand
Middle Road C.R. 27 and the construction of Middle Road Extension C.R. 27B as
shown on a map on file in the office of the Commissioner of Public Works of
Suffolk County.
