MEETING OF OCTOBER 2, 1957.
The Southold Town Board met at the office of Supervisor Norman E. Klipp
at Greenport, on Wednesday, October 2, 1957. The meeting was called to
order at 7:1 5 P.M. with the following present: Supervisor Klipp; Council-
man Albertson; Justices Tuthill, Clark and Demarest; Town Attorney Terry;
and Town Clerk Booth.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Albertson;
RESOLVED: That the regular monthly audit meeting of this Board will be
held at the office of Supervisor Norman E. Klipp at Greenport, on Tues. ,
October 8, 1957 at 1:30 P.M.
Vote of Town Board: Ayres: Supervisor Klipp; Gounilman Albertson; Justices
Tuthill, Clark and Demarest.
Moved by Justice Tuthill-; seconded by (councilman Albertson;
RESOLVED: That John P. Devine of Mattituck, N.Y. be and he hereby is
authorized to attend the Federal Civil Defense Administration Rescue
Instructor School at Olney, Maryland, for a period of two weeks , be-
ginning on October 14, 1957, and be it further
RESOLVED: That the necessary expense incurred while attending said school
is a legal charge against the Town.
Vote of Town Board: ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Councilman .Albertson;
Justices Tuthill, Clark and Demarest.
The Town Clerk presented to the Town Board, pursuant to Section 111 of
the Town Law, detailed estimates of revenue and expenditures from the
various Town Officers , departments and Districts for tht fiscal year
beginning January 1, 1958. -
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Demarest:
WHEREAS , the Southold Town Planning Board has prepared an official report
and recommendation upon the petition of Robert H. Preston and LaGrant
Chapman for a change of zone from A Residential and Agriculture District
to "B" Business- District on their real property situate near the Millage
of Greenport, Town of Southold, N.Y.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That a public hearing will be held by
the Southold Town Board at the Town Clerk's Office in Southold, on
Wednesday, October 16, 1957, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. on the proposal of
Robert H. Preston and LaGrant Chapman for a change of zone from "A"
Residential and Agricultural to "B" Business District.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Councilman Albertson;
Justices Tuthill, Clark and Demarest.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Demarest:

of zone from "A" Residential and Agricultural District to "B" Business
District on his real property situate at Cutchogue , Town of Southold, NY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That a public hearing will be held by
the Southold Town Board at the Town Clerk's Office in Southold, on Wed-
nesday, October 16, 1957, at 7:00 P.M. on the proposal of William M.
Beebe for a change of zone from "A" Residentaal and Agricultural Dist-
rict to "B" Business District.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Councilman Albertson;
Justices Tuthill, Clark and Demarest.
