The Southold Town Board met at the office of Supervisor Norman E.
Klipp at Greenport, on Tuesday, September 24, 1957. The meeting was
called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the following present: Supervisor
Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Clark and Demarest; Superintendent of High-
ways P rice; Town .Attorney Terry and Town Clerk Booth.
Moved by Justice Clark: Seconded by Justice Tuthill:
RESOLVED: That the reading of the minutes of September 6 , 1957, be
and hereby are duly approved as read.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Clark
and Demarest.
Moved by Justice Demarest; seconded by Justice Clark:
RESOLVED: That the reading of the minutes of September llth be and
hereby are duly approved as read.
Vote of T own Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Clark
and Demarest.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill:
RESOLVED: That a meeting of the Southold Town Board will be held at
the office of Supervisor Norman E. Klipp at Greenport , on Wednesday,
October 2, 1957, at 7:00 o 'clock P.M.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Clark
and Demarest.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill:
WHEREAS , a petition was received from Edna A. Brown, relative to
change of zone
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk of the Town of
Southold be and he hereby is directed to transmit this application
to the Planning Board in accordance with Section 901, sub-division
C of Article 1X of the Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of Southold
Suffolk County, New York.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Clark
and Demarest.

WHEREAS, a petition was received from Nelson Axien, relative to
change of zone,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk of the Town of
Southold be and he hereby is directed to transmit khis application
to the Planning Board in accordance with Section 901, subdivision C
of Article 1X of the Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of Southold,
Suffolk. County, New York.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Clark
and Demarest.
Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Clark:
WHEREAS, a petition was received from Angelo G. Petrucci and Georgette
Petrucci, relative to change of zone,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk of the Town of
Southold be and he hereby is directed to transmit this application
to the Planning Board in accordance with Section 901, Sub-didision c
of Article 1X of the Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of Southold,
Suffolk County, New York.
Vote of Town Board; Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Clark
and Demarest.
The Supervisor read a communication from Daniel R. Grattan stating
that he was tending his resignation as School Traffic Officer at the
Southold School.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Demarest:
RESOLVED: That the resignation of Daniel R. Grattan, School Traffic
Officer at the Southold School, be andepted by the Town Board with
regret.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Clark
and Demarest.

WHEREAS ,, the Southold Town Planning Board has prepared an official
report and recommendation to the Town Board on the proposal to amend
the Building Zone Ordinance by adding thereto Section 1013 exceptions
as to certain sub-division lots ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That a public hearing will be held by
the Southold Town Board at the Town Clerk's Office in Southold, on
Wednesday, October 16, 1957, at 7:00 o 'clock P.M. on the proposal
to amend the Building Zone Ordinance.
Vote of Town Board: A yes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Clark
and Demarest.
