MEETING OF SEPTEMBER' 6, 1955.
The Southold Town Board met at the office of Supervisor
Norman E. Klipp at Greenport, on Tuesday, September 6, 1955•
The meeting was called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the follow-
ing present: Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Albertson,
Clark and Demarest; Superintendent of Highways Price; Town
Attorney Terry and Town Clerk Booth.
The Board sat at once as a committee on Audit to examine
claims against the Town concluding the audit work at 2
o 'clock.
Moved by JusticeAlbertson; seconded by Justice Demarest:
RESOLVED: That the minutes of the meeting of August 9th be
and hereby are duly approved as read.
Vote of Town Boatd: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill,
Albertson, Clark and Demarest.
Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Clark:
RESOLVED: That the minutes of the meeting of August 23rd
be and hereby are duly approved as read.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill,
Albertson, Clark and Demarest.
Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Tuthill:
RESOLVED: That the regular monthly meeting of this Board
will be held at the office of Supervisor Klipp at Greenport,
on Tuesday, September 27, 1955, at 1:30 P.M.
Vote of Town Board: .Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill,
Albertson, Clark and Demarest.
Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Demarest:
RESOLVED: That inasmuch as the required dedication and release
have been duly received, map of same duly filed and the necess-
ary papers signed, the Town Board take over and maintain as
public highways? "Fiddler Lane" , "Meadow Lane" and "Angler 's
Road" , situate in the Town of Southold, neat the Village of
Greenport, Suffolk County, New York.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill,
Albertson, Clark and Demerest; and .
Superintendent of Highways Price.
Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Tuthill:
RESOLVED: That the Town Board does hereby approve the rec-
ommendation of Harold Price, Town Superintendent of Highways,
to' purchase one carload of snow fence and posts.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill,
Alb ertsm, lark and Demarest.
Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Clark:
RESOLVED: That Bond No. 547431, issued by the Glens Falls
Insurance Company in the amount of $42000.00, on behalf of
Theodore B. Howard, be and the smme is hereby approved as to
its form, sum, manner of execution and sufficiency of surety
therein.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill,
Albertson, C1&rk and Demarest.

RESOLVED: That Bond No. SM 178199, issued by-t-the American
Motorists Insurance Company, in the amount of $500.00, on
be of Edward S. Brush, be andt-the same is hereby approved
as to its form, sum, manner of execution and sufficiency of
surety therein.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill,
Albertson, Clark and Demarest.

RESOLVED: That Bond No. SM 178200, issued by the American
Motorists Insurance Company, in the amount of' $500.00, on
behalf of Charles W. Jacobs , be and the same is hereby approved
as to its form, sum, manner of execution and sufficiency of
surety therein.

Albertson, Clark and Demarest.

RESOLVED: That the Police report for the month of August
be accepted by the Town Board and placed on file.

Albertson, Clark and Demarest.

RESOLVED: That General Bills in the amount of $47548.90,
Lighting Di.strict Bills in the amount of #1,297.32, Town Trustee
Bills in the amount of $50.00, Fishers Island Ferry District
Bills in the amount of $8, 559.87, be and the same are hereby
ordered paid.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill,
Albertson, Clark and Demarest.
