A special meeting oX the Southold Town Board was .hel..d on Friday,
October 3, 1980' at the Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold;
New York, Supervsior Pell opened the meeting at 8 :00 A..M. with.
the following present ;
Supervisor William R. Pell, TIT
Councilman Henry W, Drum
Councilman John J', Nickles
Councilman Lawrence Murdock, Jr..
Town Clerk Judith T. Terry
Deputy Supervisor Marie Bauer Johnson .
Absent : Justice Francis T. Doyen
Councilman George R. Sullivan
Town Clerk Judith Terry presented the Tentative 1981 Budget to the
Town Board members .
Supervisor Pell and the Councilmen briefly reviewed the Budget.
On motion of Councilman Drum, seconded by Councilman Murdock, it was
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold accepts the
Southold Town Tenative Budget for 1981 as presented by the Town Clerk.
Vote of the Town Board: Ayes : Councilman Murdock, Councilman
Nickles , Councilman Drum, Supervisor Pell-
The Board set 8 :00 A.M. , Fxsday, October 10. 1980 as a Work Session
day to completely review the Tentative Budget.
On motion of Supervisor Pell, seconded by Councilman Nickles, it was
RESOLVED that there being no further business to come before this Town
Board meeting adjournment be called at 9 : 10 A,M.
Vote of the Town Board: 'Ayes : Councilman Murdock, Councilman
Nickles , Councilman Drum, Supervisor Pell.
This resolution was declared duly adopted.
