SOUTHOLD' 'TOWN BOARD
EXECUTIVE SESSION
JULY 6, 1982
The Southold Town: Board met at 7: 30 P.M. , Tuesd'ay ,� July '6,
19S2 at the Southold Town Hall, Main Road, Southold, New York for
an Executive Session.
Present: Supervisor William R. Pell ,- III
Councilman John J. Nickles
Councilman Lawrence Murdock, Jr.
Councilman Francis J. Murphy
Councilman Joseph. L. Townsend, Jr.
Justice Raymond W. Edwards
Town Clerk Judith T. Terry
Town Attorney Robert W. Tasker
Superintendent of Highways Raymond C. Dean
7 : 30 P. M. - Discussed the performance of Pan Tech: Management 'Corp.
as grant consultants to the Town.
8: 30 P. A1. - Met with William Gillooly, Community Development Director
for the Village of Greenport , to discuss :possib-legrantsmanship work
for the Town of Southold.
9: 05 P. M. - Discussed contract negotiations with the North' Fork
Animal Welfare League , Inc. for operation of the .Dog Pound and
enforcement of the Agriculture and Markets Law.
9: 20 P.M. - Discussed the ..problems which have arisen in connection
with the Clam Transplant Program. - The contractor for supplying the
clams, Sea are Co. of East--M-arlon, is unable to fulfill their ..
contract , however, Supervisor Pell has made arrangements to purchase
the clams directly from the sul)plier and the Program will proceed as
planned.
9: 25 P. M. - Supervisor Pell and Councilman Nickles discussed the
proposal of North Fork Bank & Trust' Corripany to conduct a survey
of all Town departments for the purpose of computerization. The
cost of the survey would be deducted from. the contract if .one is
entered into between the Town and the Bank.
9: 30 P.M. - Discussed the possible purchase of property adjoining
the Landfill Site at Cutchogue.
9 : 50 P.M. - Meeting -adjourned.
