Thm meeting was called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the following present: -Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill Albertson, Clark and Demarest; Superintnedent of Highways Price; town Attorney Terry and Town Clerk Booth. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Demarest: RESOLVED: That the minutes of the two previous meetings be and hereby are duly approved as read. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Sulpervisor- Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Albertson, Clark and Demarest. The Board audited a bill of .Carl N. Cooper in the amount of $150.00. Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Clark: RESOLVED:,-. That General Bills in the amount of $150.00 be and the same is hereby ordered paid. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Albertson, Clark and Demarest. The following Bonds were presented to the Board for approval. Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Clark: RESOLVED: That Bond No. F2747 issued by the Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York, in the sum of One Thousand ($1,000.00) Dollars on behalf of Edwin S. Conklin, be and the same is hereby approved as to its form, sum, manner of execution and sufficiency of surety therein. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Albertson, Clark and Demarest. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Clark: RESOLVED: That Bond No. F2738, issued by The Fidelity and Casual- ty Company of New York, in the sum of Fifty Thousand ($50,000.00) Dollars on behalf of Austin C. Burt', be and the same is hereby approved as to itd form, sum, manner of execution and sufficiency of surety therein. Vote of Town Board:.Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Albertson, Clark and Demarest. Moved by Justice Clark: Seconded by Justice Tuthill: RESOLVED: That Bond No. SM177883 , issued by the American Motorists Insurance Company, in the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars , on behalf of James J. Fitzpatrick, be and the same is approved a,s to its form, sum, manner of execution and sufficiency of surety therein. Vote -of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp, Justices Tuthill, Albertson, Clark and Demarest. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Albertson: RESOLVED:- That the regular monthly Audit meeting of this Board will be held at the office of Supervisor Norman E. Klipp at Green- port on Tuesday, December 7, 1954, at 1:30 P.M. Vote -of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Albertson, Clark and Demarest. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Demarest: RESOLVED: That the Southold Town Board approve the action of the Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry District in entering into Lease Contract No. DA-19-016-eng-3262 with the Department of Army for that portion of a certain parcel of land together with portions of the Government owned dock and warehouse and all other appurtenances thereto located at the foot of John Street,New Londen, Connecticut, known as the Government Dock, New London for a period of one year, commencing on October 1, 1954, and ending on September 30, 1955, for the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) for the above mentioned term. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Albertson, Clark and Demarest. Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Clark: RESOLVED: That inasmuch as the required dedication and release have been received, map of same duly filed and the necessary ` papers signed, the Southold Town Board accept four strips of land as additional to the public highwyys known as Manhansett Avenue and Beach Road', near Greenport, Town of Southold, and that said additions be and they are hereby accepted and declared to be part of the respective highways and to be main- tained by the Town of Southold, Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Albertson, Clark and Demarest and Superintendent of Highways Price. That the minutes of the previous meeting be and here- by are duly approved as read. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Albertson, Clark and Demarest. Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Demarest: RESOLVED: That .the Annual Audit Meeting of this Board will be held at the office of Supervisor Norman E1. Klipp at Greenport, on Thursday, December 30, 1954, at 1:30 P.M. Vote of Town Board: .Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Albertson, Clark and Dmmarest. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Albertson: RESOLVEDr That the 'Town Board of the Town of Southold record itself in favor of the development of additional hydro electrical power from the Niagara River by Private Enterprize Electric Cos. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Albertson, Clark and Demarest. Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Demarest: RESOLVED: That General Bills in amount of $6,601.38; Lighting Bills in the amount of $1,412.96; Town Trustee Bills in the amount of $40.00; Fishers Island Ferry District Bills in the amount of $1 5, 557.71 be and the same are hereby ordered paid.. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Klipp; Justices Tuthill, Albertson, Clark and Demarest. Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Albertson; RESOLVED: That the Police Report for the month of November be accepted by the Town Board and placed on file.
