By amending Section 4 of said Ordinance to read as follows SECTION 4:- Sanitation The dumping of oil, refuse, 'garbage-, sewage or waste is "prohb'ited.; II. , By amending' Se`ct.ion .8 of said 'Ordinance "by adding thereto a new subdivision tb' be 'subdivision --(c) to read"as follows: (c)` 'No boat propoelled by an' internal combustion' engine . shall be' operated on- any inland fresh waters . in' 'the Town�..of Southold, except in emergency or rescue operations or by peace officers in "the" performance of their" duties: ' " III: By' amending Section ll of said Ordinance` 'to'. read as follows :' SECTION ll. - 'Pena'lties. Any' person' who" violates any provision of 'this Ordinance shall be' guilty of 'a violation and' upon conviction ' shal-l--be subject to a fine of not more than $500. 00 or imprisonment for not more than 15 days or by both such fine and imprisonment. Moved by Councilman Valentine, seconded by Councilman Rich, it was RESOLVED that Justice Suter and Justice Demarest be and they hereby are authorized to attend Justice Conference, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, on August 13 and 14, 1971, and be it further RESOLVED that the actual and necessary expenses to travel, meals and lodging incurred while attending said conference be a legal charge aginst the Town. Vote of the Town Board: Ayes : Supervisor Martocchia, Councilman Rich, Councilman Valentine, Justice Suter, Justice. Demarest. Recess called at 3 :25 P.M. Reconvened at 3 :45 P.M. Moved by Justice Suter, seconded by Justice Demarest, WHEREAS Zdzislaw Mekalojczyk has applied to the Town Board for a single trailer renewal permit dated July 26, 1971, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the applocation of Zdzislaw Mekalojczyk to .locate a single trailer on his property at Johns Road, east side Main Road, Mattituck, New York, be and hereby is. granted for a six (6) month period. 1 Vote of the Town Board: Ayes : Supervisor Martocchia, Councilman- Valentine, Councilman Rich, Justice Suter, Justice Demarest. Moved by Justice Demarest, seconded by Justice Suter, it was RESOLVED that General Bills in the amount of $12, 224. 09; Lighting District bills in the amount. of $4,487. 22 ; Fishers Island Ferry District bills in the amount of $17 , 557.66; Highway bills in the amount of $14, 917 . 60; and Capital Fund bills in the amount of $5, 733 . 70 be and the same are hereby ordered paid.
