SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD
SPECIAL MEETING
FEBRUARY 6, 1997
A Special Meeting of the Southold Town Board was held on February 6, 1997,
at the Third Street Fire Station, Greenport, New York. Supervisor Cochran opened
the meeting at 4:45 P.M.
Present: Supervisor Jean W. Cochran
Councilwoman Alice J . Hussie
Councilman Joseph L. Townsend, Jr.
Councilwoman Ruth D. Oliva
Councilman William D. Moore
Town Clerk Judith T. Terry
Town Attorney Laury L. Dowd
Absent: Justice Louisa P. Evans
SUPERVISOR COCHRAN: We are here to. adopt a resolution with regard to the
Stipulation of Settlement.
Moved by Councilman Townsend, seconded by the Entire Town" Board, it was
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby authorizes and
directs Supervisor Jean W. Cochran to execute a Stipulation of Settlement in the
matter of The Village of Greenport and David E. Kapell v. The Town of Southold
and The Southold Town Police Benevolent Association.

This resolution was duly ADOPTED.
Moved by Councilwoman Oliva, seconded by Councilwoman Hussie, it was
RESOLVED that this Special Town Board meeting be and hereby is adjourned at 4:46
P.M.
Vote of the Board: Ayes: Councilman Moore, Councilwoman Oliva, Councilman
Townsend, Councilwoman Hussie, Supervisor Cochran.
This resolution was duly ADOPTED.
