Vote of the Board: Ayes:- Mr. Bergen, Mr. Rosenberg, and
Mr. Grigonis.
By resolution. offered by Mr. Grigonis, seconded by Mr.
Rosenberg, it -was RESOLVED that hearing ,be -set -for 7:45 P.M.
,(B.S.T. ) , Thursday, .Marsh 10, .1960 at the Town Clerk Office,
Main Road, .Southold, New York, upon application .of :Phil and
Evelyn Berry, Private Road, east side Bailey Beach, .Mattituck,
New York, for a variance in accordance with Zoning Ordinance,
.Article III., -Section 303, .and Article.X, .Section 1000A, for
permission to reduce fronta.ge .and use as a..single lot, property
located on Private Right-of-Way, east :side Bail,ey.Beach, Mattituck,
New York, bounded north by Sound, east by Robert H. Austin, south
by Bailey Beach., and .west by other .land of the .applicant. Per-
mission is also requested .for secogn.ition. of access. to this lot under
State of New York -Town haw, Section 280A.
Vote of -the Board: Ayes:- Mr. Bergen, Mr. Rosenberg, and
Mr. Grigonis.
The minutes of the meeting ,of...February 18, 1960, on motion
of .Mr. Rosenberg, seconded by Mr. Grigonis, an:d, carried, were
approved as submitted.
Vote .of-the -Board: Ayes:- Mr. Bergen, Mr. Rosenberg, and
'Mr. Grigonis.
Mr. Walter. Grabie, Mattituck, New York, brought before the
Board of Appeals a new map of his property at Lupton Point,
Mattituck. It has been redrawn .in accordance with the suggestions
of the Board of Appeals, to show three .100 ft. lots and. one 88 ft.
lot, rather than. .five 75, ft. lots. By doing this it resolves
the .situation presented by Mr. George Bird on February k 18th,,
1960. Mr. Bird is .now going to purchase .a .100 :ft. lot. from Mr.
-Grabie.
As a result of the above it was moved by Mr. Rosenberg,
seconded by Mr. Grigonis, and carried, that a letter be forwarded
to Supervi.sor :Tuthill requesting that Mr. Bird.`s �15. 00 fee for
Appeal No. 262 dated February 15, 1960 be returned to him.
Vote of -the Board, Ayes:-- Mr. Bergen, Mr. Rosenberg, and
Mr. Grigonis.
Southold Town Board of Appeals -3- February 29, 1960
On motion cf Mr. Grigon.is, seconded by Mr.. Rosenberg, and
.carried,. it was
'RESOLVED that -a .letter beforwarded to Supervisor Tuthill
requesting that ,the .$15. 00 fee of ,Joseph P. Terp .be returned
to him as his appeal No. 26,0 dated February 15, 196,0 was with-
drawn prior to presentation to the Board of Appeals.
Vote .of the .Boardz Ayes:— Mr. Bergen; Mr.. Rosenberg, and
Mr. Grigonis.
On .motion of -Mr. Rosenberg, seconded b_y Mr. Grigonis, and
carried, it :was.
RESOLVED that a. letter be forwarded .to Supervisor Tuthill
requesting that the .$15-. 00 fee paid by Walter -G. Kapp, Esq. for
Joseph P. Terp's appeal No. 261 .dated February 15., . 1960 be returned
to him as the. -appeal was withdrawn prior to its presentation to
the Board of Appeals.
Vote of the .Board: Ayes:- Mr. Bergen, .Mr. Rosenberg, and
Mr. Grigonis.
The next meeting ..of the Southold Town. Board of Appeals will,
be held 7: 30 P.M. , Thursday, ;March .3, 1960 at -the Town Clerk
:Office, Main Road, Southold, New York.
