SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD
SPECIAL MEETING
April '4, •1984
A Special' Meeting of the Southold Town Board was held on Wednesday,
April 4, �1984 at the Southold Town Hall, Main' Road, Southold, New York.
Supervisor Murphy opened the meeting at 1 :00. P.M. with the following.
present:
.Supervisor Francis 'J. Murphy
Councilman Joseph L. Townsend,. Jr. .
Justice Raymond W: Edwards
Councilman Paul Stoutenburgh
Town Clerk Judith T. Terry'
Town Attorney Robert W. Tasker .
Absent: Councilman James A. Schondebare
Moved by Supervisor Murphy, seconded by Justice Edwards, it was
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby accepts the
bid'of Valentine Heating 8 'Air'Conditioning, Inc., P. 0. Box A U, .500 .Route
25A, Miller Place, New York .11764, in the amount of $19,56S.00, for Contract
No. 2 - Heating, Ventilation 8 �Air '.Conditionin , Scavenger Waste Treatment
Faci ity, Wastewater Disposa District, Town of Southold, Federal Project No.
C-36-1120-03. This is a Lump Sum Contract and includes all items o work,
labor and material's required by. the Contract Drawings, Information for Bidders,
General Conditions, Specifications or otherwise required for the proper, completion
of the Contract, and be it further
RESOLVED that Supervisor Francis 'J. Murphy be and he hereby is 'authorized
and directed to enter into a contract with Valentine Heating 8 Air 'Conditioning,
Inc. for the aforesaid-work under Contract No. 2 - Heating, Ventilation 8 Air
Conditioning, Scavenger Waste Treatment Facility.
Vote of the Town Board: Ayes: Councilman Stoutenburgh, Justice Edwards,
Councilman Townsend, Supervisor Murphy.
This resolution was declared duly ADOPTED.
Moved by Councilman Townsend, seconded by Councilman Stoutenburgh, 'it 'was
RESOLVED that this Special' Town Board Meeting be adjourned at 1 :02 P.M.
Vote of the Town Board: Ayes: Councilman Stoutenburgh, Justice Edwards,
Councilman Townsend, Supervisor Murphy.
This resolution was declared duly ADOPTED.
