SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD
SPECIAL MEETING
NOVEMBER 3, '1986' "
A Special' Meeting of the Southold Town Board was held on Monday, November
3, :1986•,' at the Southold. Town Hall, Main' Road, Southold, New York. Supervisor
Murphy opened the meeting at 8:QU A.M.
Present: Supervisor Francis �J. Murphy
Councilman Paul Stoutenburgh
Councilman James A. Schondebare
Councilwoman Jean W. Cochran
Councilman George L. Penny IV
Town. Clerk. Judith' T.' Terry
Town. Attorney Robert W.' Tasker
Absent: Justice Raymond W. Edwards -
SUPERVISOR MURPHY: We will'dispense with all other business and proceed with
the resolutions. Resolution number 1 is 'to authorize the Town Clerk. to circulate
the changes to the proposed zoning map.

1. Moved by Councilwoman Cochran, seconded by Councilman Schondebare, it was
RESOLVED. that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby approves the
following changes to the proposed zoning map, and authorizes the Town Clerk
to circulate those changes to appropriate Town, County and State agencies :
(a) Southeast corner of Eugene's .Road and Route 25,' Cutchogue - to "B"
General Business District.
(b) Gas station property on the: northerly side of Route 25,' Orient, directly
opposite Platt Road - to "B" General Business District.
(c) Southwest corner of Village Lane and Route 25, Orient - to "B" General
Business District.
1.-Vote of the Town Board : Ayes: Councilman Penny, Councilwoman Cochran, Council-'
man Schondebare, Councilman Stoutenburgh, Supervisor Murphy.
This resolution was declared duly ADOPTED.
SUPERVISOR MURPHY : .Number 2(a) is �to execute a lease agreement.
2. Moved by Councilwoman Cochran, seconded by Councilman Stoutenburgh, it was
(a) RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby authorizes and
directs Supervisor Francis 'J. Murphy to execute a lease agreement between the
Town and Albert J. Krupski, 'Jr. for the use of a portion of his 'property at
Skunk Lane, Cutchogue, for drainage purposes, at an annual fee of $800. 00, and
for a minimum term of ten (10) years; all subject to approval of the lease agree-
ment by Town Attorney Tasker.
2.-Vote of the Town Board : Ayes : Councilman Penny, Councilwoman Cochran, Council-'-
(a) man Schondebare, Councilman Stoutenburgh, Supervisor. Murphy.
This resolution. was declared duly ADOPTED.
SUPERVISOR MURPHY: Number 2(b) is `another lease agreement.
2. Moved by Councilman Schondebare, seconded by Councilman Penny, it *was
(b) RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby authorizes and
directs Supervisor. Francis �J. Murphy to execute a lease agreement between the
Town and Bob Gilbert for the use of a portion of his property at the southwest
corner of Eugene Road and Skunk Lane, Cutchogue, for drainage purposes, at
no fee, a minimum term of ten (1) years; all subject .to approval of the lease
agreement by Town Attorney Tasker.

(b) man Schondebare, Councilman Stoutenburgh, Supervisor Murphy.

SUPERVISOR MURPHY : Number 3',is-,�tol`extend the date for receipt 'of proposals
for the Town's .Insurance Program.
3. Moved by Supervisor Murphy, seconded by Councilman Penny, it 'was
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby extends the date
for receipt of proposals for the Town's Insurance Program for Fiscal Year 1987,
and/or alternate aggretate propsals for years .1987, 19881 1989, from 11 :00 A.M. ,
Thursday,. November 13, -1986 to. 11 :00 A.M. , Friday, December 12, 1986, and
authorizes the Town Clerk to advertise said notice in'The Long Island Traveler-
Wachman and The Suffolk Times.

SUPERVISOR MURPHY: Would you like to add one more resolution to increase the
price of the isale of sand?
Rescinded November 18, 1986 Resolution # 5,6,7,
4.., Moved by Councilman Schondebare, seconded by Councilman Penny, it was
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby increases the fee
for the purchase of sand from the Landfill'area from $2.50 per yard to $3.50 per
yard, effective 9:00 A.M. , Monday, November 3, 1986.
4.-Vote of the Town Board: Ayes : Councilman Penny, Councilwoman Cochran, Council-'
man Schondebare, Councilman Stoutenburgh, 'Supervisor Murphy.
This resolution was declared duly ADOPTED.
SUPERVISOR MURPHY: There being no further business, may I have a resolution
to adjourn?
Moved by Councilman Schondebare, seconded by. Councilman Stoutenburgh, it was
RESOLVED that this especial Town Board meeting be and hereby is 'adjourned, at
8:30 A.M.
