SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD
SEPTEMBER .15, .1986
A Special Meeting of the Southold Town Board was called to order.by Supervisor
Francis J. Murphy. at 10: 15 A.M., Monday, September. 15, 1986, at the Southold Town
Hall, Mairi�Road, Southold, New York. All Town Board members signed a Waiver of
Notice of Town Board meeting.
Present: Supervisor Francis:J. Murphy —
Justice Raymond W. Edwards
Councilman James A. Schondebare
Councilwoman Jean W. Cochran
Councilman George L. Penny IV
Town Clerk Judith T. Terry
Absent: Councilman Paul Stoutenburgh
On motion of Supervisor Murphy, seconded by Councilman Schondebare, it was
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby appoints James D.
Franke and Alan E. Czelatka Police Officers for the Town of Southold, at a salary
of $7,500. 00 per annum; effective September 22, 1986, the starting date of the Suffolk
County Police Academy; said appointments are .subject to final approval of the Suffolk
County Department of Civil Service upon their completion of the remaining qualifying
tests, and subject to graduation from the Suffolk County Police Academy.
Vote of the Town Board: Ayes: Councilman Penny. Councilwoman Cochran: Yes, on
the recommendation of the Police Committee, Councilman Schondebare, Justice Edwards,
Supervisor Murphy.
This resolution was declared duly ADOPTED.
On motion of Supervisor Murphy, seconded by Justice Edwards, it was
RESOLVED that this Special Town Board meeting be and hereby is adjourned at 10: 17 A.N
Vote of the Town Board: Ayes: Councilman Penny, Councilwoman Cochran, Councilman
Schondebare, Justice Edwards, Supervisor Murphy.
This resolution was declared duly ADOPTED.
