A Special Meeting. of the Southold Town. ,Board, was held at 9:00 A.M. Tuesday,
April 11,. 19890 at the Southold Town Hall, Main' Road, Southold .. New York. Board
members were notified of this meeting, in'writing, by the 'Supervisor and Town Clerk
by letter dated April 5, .1989'.
Present: Supervisor Francis '.1— Murphy

Councilwoman Jean W.' Cochran
Councilman George. L.' Penny ..IV'
Councilwoman Ruth D. Oliva
Councilwoman Ellen M.". Larsen

Supervisor Murphy stated that this 'meeting was called to fill'the vacancy in'the office
of Receiver of Taxes. Receiver of Taxes George Mellas resigned effective April 10,
1989.
Moved by Supervisor Murphy,, seconded by Councilwoman Cochran, -it 'was .
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the. Town of-Southold hereby. :appoints Margaret F.
Coulter the Receiver of Taxes, for. the Town of Southold, effective April 11, .1989
through November 30, .1989'.
Vote of the Town, Board :. Ayes : Councilwoman Larsen, Councilwoman Oliva, Councilman
Penny, Councilwoman Cochran, :Justice Edwards,. :Supervisor Murphy.
This resolution was declared .duly ADOPTED.
